Saint Dimitrios, Moonee Ponds is a vibrant parish within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, situated in Melbourne’s north-western region. As a religious institution, their primary focus is to propagate their message and way of life to a diverse and wide-ranging audience. To achieve this, they approached Optim to create an effective branding strategy that would engage with people across various mediums. The primary objective was to increase their outreach and make their presence felt among the community.

The Solution

Optim was excited to work on the branding for St. Dimitrios and was determined to create a brand that would reflect the values and traditions of the church. We delved deep into the subject matter, researched extensively, and created simple yet elegant logos that conveyed the message of the church. To ensure that the brand looked professional and was attractive to the intended audience, we carefully selected typography, unique color schemes, and background colors that suited the church’s character. We also created distinctive icons that would differentiate between the numerous services offered by the church.

To create a cohesive brand experience, our team at Optim developed collaterals such as branded notebooks, calendars and business cards that featured the new branding. These materials were created with the intention of being both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The end result was a unique and meaningful brand that successfully conveyed the church’s values and mission. 

The new branding has helped to increase the visibility of the church and attract new members to the congregation.

The ultimate outcome of our branding efforts was a distinctive and purposeful brand identity that effectively communicated the core values and mission of the church. As a result of the new branding, the church has experienced heightened visibility and an influx of new members to the congregation.
